Obituary of Salvatore S. Sanzari

Salvatore S. (Sammy) Sanzari, of South Hackensack, NJ, died on Saturday, September 27, 2008, at Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of 81 years. Prior to retiring he worked in the shipping department for United Board Company of Ridgefield Park for 30 years. He also worked as a school crossing guard for the City of Hackensack for 20 years and was a member of the School Crossing Guard Union. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Hackensack. Beloved husband of the late Margarete M. (nee Ringwelski). Dearest brother of Rose Gardner of Lodi and Joseph Sanzari of South Hackensack. Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burialwill be celebrated on Wednesday, October 1st, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. with burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visiting will be on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
