Obituary of Sophie Bay

SOPHIE SZELSTA BAY, of Hackensack, died on Friday, December 26, 2008, at Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of 83 years. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R. C. Church of Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Franklin Bay. Devoted mother of Franklin Bay and his wife Jeanne of Rochelle Park. Loving grandmother of Lauren Bay and Franklin Bay Jr. Dearest sister of the late Adam Szelsta, Joseph Szelsta, Julia Wutsch, Stella De Lorenzo, Nellie Roberts and Helen McPheeters. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 30th, at 11:00 AM, at St. Joseph's R. C. Church, 460 Hudson Street, Hackensack, with burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visiting will be on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
