Obituary of Carmen De Las Salas

Carmen Isabel Lamadrid De Las Salas, 82, passed away peacefully on, Thursday, December 18, 2025. Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, Carmen devoted her life to her work as a seamstress and, above all, to caring for her family. She was known for her creativity, her love of arts and crafts, and for always putting her family first. Carmen is survived by her husband, Alvaro De Las Salas, her children, Angelica and Danny De Las Salas, and her grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, on Saturday, December 20, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, with a prayer service at 5:30 PM. Cremation will be private.
