Obituary of Michele Duardo

Michele "Michael" Duardo, of Lodi, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the age of 78 years. Born in Melicucca, Italy, he came to the United States in 1965. Prior to retiring, he worked as a Welder for Siemans Welding in Northvale for many years. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church in Hackensack. Beloved husband to the late Rosa "Sina" Duardo (nee Leuzzi) for 51 years. Devoted son of the late Rocco & Flaminia Duardo. Loving father of Flaminia, Rocco (Stephanie), Anthony and his wife (Kristey) and Maria Duardo. Cherished Nonno of Jake, Michael, Rocco, and Lia Duardo. Michele also leaves behind two brothers Giuseppe and his wife Anita and Rosario and many loving sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and many close friends. The Funeral will begin on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 8:30 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated; 10:00 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Washington Twp. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 28, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home.
