Obituary of Maria Carmen DiPasquale

Maria C. DiPasquale (née Zisa), passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the age of 71 years. Prior to retiring she worked for the Garfield Public School system for many years. She was loved by her coworkers and her students. In her free time, she enjoyed social gatherings and could be spotted on the dance floor all night long. Cooking was one of her greatest passions and she was always willing to share those meals with family and friends. She was known for her charisma and beautiful smile. Devoted mother of Sergio and his wife Carmen, Luana and her husband Dominic, John Paul and Carmelo. Loving sibling to her sister Rosa Zisa and her brother Jose Zisa. Doting grandmother to Santino. Cherished godmother to many. Loyal friend to all. She will always be remembered. Visitation will be held at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ, on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, a prayer service will be held 10:00AM on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at the Funeral Home, entombment will follow at Hackensack Cemetery.
