I was one of Patrick’s nurses on Simon 5 at MMC after his diagnosis. He really spoke to me, and I loved listening to him . He made an impact on me . I loved him; may he rest in the sweetest peace. Steph M,RN

A man truly summed up by the term gentleman - kind, patient, slow to frustration, and endlessly generous. The type of man anyone would be proud to count as a friend. Patrick, I owe you a level of gratitude I’m not sure I can express with words, your contribution to my life and my family’s business is immeasurable. You were one of a kind and I’ll never forget the time I was lucky enough to spend in your company.

PJ. Pat. Patrick. Always thinking of others. Always. My memory is PJ being the sweetest older cousin to the young McCarthy kids (when he could’ve been hanging out with the older McCarthy‘s). He made sure we had fun, including not blowing up the easy bake oven. I’m so honored and grateful that he enjoyed my potato soup that Maria brought him at Hope Hospice Center. She was supposed to eat it, but he took over. You had me at potato. Classy move, PJ. ! Honestly, such a sweet and wonderful human undoubtedly basking in the love of the Lord. Sadly gone at an early age but reunited with his loving parents, Uncles and Aunts and Grandparents. I’m so grateful he was in my life as a family member. He left a selfless giving legacy to us all. Well done PJ.
