Obituary of William A. Mania

WILLIAM A. MANIA, JR., of Barnegat, formerly of Hackensack and Little Ferry, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at the age of 67 years. Prior to retiring, he was a Police Officer with the Hackensack Police Department for 28 years. William was a Vietnam Army Veteran and a member of the VFW in Little Ferry. He sang acappella with The Semesters in the 60’s. William loved crabbing, fishing, boating, and working in his garden. Beloved husband of Diane (nee Gambino) for 44 loving years. Adored son of the late William and Sandy Mania. Devoted father of Michael and his wife Rosa formerly of Little Ferry. Cherished son-in-law of Rose Gambino formerly of Little Ferry. Loving grandfather of Micaela. Dearest brother of Beverly Grecco and her husband Steve of Hackensack. Brother-in-law of Peter and Robbin Gambino of South Carolina. Adored uncle to many nieces and nephews. Chapel service and cremation are private. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM.
