Obituary of Vivian J. Mannino

VIVIAN J. MIGNONE MANNINO, "A Guardian Angel to all who knew and loved her" died on Tuesday, December 18, 2007, ,at the age of 90 years. She was born in Hackensack and was a lifelong resident. In 1928, her family opened Mira Pharmacy in Hackensack, a business that spanned more than 60 years, where she worked as a pharmacist with her husband "Russ" and his brother and her sister. She graduated from Rutgers College of Pharmacy in 1941. She was a member of the Bergen County Pharmaceutical Association, the New Jersey Pharmacists Association and the American Pharmaceutical Association. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church of Hackensack. Loving and devoted wife for 65 years of Rosario "Russ" Mannino. Adored mother of William Mannino and his wife Hope of Milford, PA and Ronald Mannino and his wife Suzanne of Wyckoff. Cherished grandmother of Scott and Theresa Mannino, Lisa Mannino and Robert Mannino. Dearest sister of the late Thelma Mannino. . The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, December 22, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church at 9:30 AM.with burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Hackensack. . The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Memorial donations to Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack 07601 would be appreciated.
