Obituary of Donald G. Myles

DONALD GORDON MYLES, of Hackensack, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014, at Hackensack University Medical Center at the age of 65 years. He was born in Swift Current, Canada. Prior to retiring he was a postal worker for the Englewood Postal Department. He was a highly decorated Army veteran of the Vietnam War including the Purple Heart. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 142 of Maywood. He is survived by his son Stanley Myles and wife Michele of Washington Township, a daughter, Tracy Myles of Clifton, two grandsons, Ryan and Andrew, his father Gordon Myles of Lexington, Kentucky, two sisters, Linda Geczi of Denville and Jackie Myles of Los Angeles, CA, and a brother, Barry Myles of Willow Hill, Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by his mother the late Jean Myles. Funeral was private with interment at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arnytown, NJ.
