Obituary of Frank C. Occhipinti

FRANK C. OCCHIPINTI, SR., of Hackensack passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at the age of 84. Prior to retiring in 2004 he owned and operated F & F Paving in Montvale for over 55 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, and a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved husband of the late Francine D. (nee Galli) (2011). Loving father of Joanne Occhipinti of Barnegat, and Frank C. Occhipinti Jr. and his wife Donna formerly of Montvale. Cherished grandfather of Nicole and Michael. Adored great-grandfather of Devin. Dearest brother of Anthony Occhipinti Sr. and his wife Mary of Spring Valley, NY, and the late Gracie Sigona. Frank is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The funeral on Tuesday at 9:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack at 11:00 AM with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM.
