Obituary of Carlos R. Padilla

CARLOS R. PADILLA, 64, of Bergenfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Born in Ecuador, he was formerly a longtime Staten Island resident. He liked to watch and play soccer and tennis. Carlos also was a record collector and loved modern music. He was also a member of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) since 1983. Above everything else, Carlos loved spending time with his family. Since blue was his favorite color, whenever you look up on a clear day at the blue sky know that Carlos is smiling down on you from heaven. Beloved son of Carlos Isaac Padilla and the late Cecilia Catalina Padilla. Loving brother of Patsy Lynch and her husband Paul A. and Dinorah Calderon and her husband German. Dearest uncle of Paul A. Lynch, Jr., Monica Calderon, Catherine P. Lynch, and Andrew C. Calderon. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends. The funeral on Monday, November 25, at 8:15 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 AM at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Ave, Hackensack, with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus. The family will receive friends for viewing on Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 PM.
