Obituary of Connie A. Pumilio

CONSTANCE "CONNIE" A. PUMILIO, (nee Minardi) of Hackensack passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the age of 84. Prior to retiring she worked as an Aide for the Pre-K Class at the Jackson Avenue School in Hackensack. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late James V. Pumilio (1996). Cherished mother of Joanne Levin and her husband John P. and Jacqueline Moran. Loving grandmother of Jodi Anne, Jonathan James and Kristen Ann. Dearest sister of Nina Minardi, Jennie Braccolino, Rose Marie Savino and the late Bart Minardi. A Prayer service will be held on Friday October 7th, 10:00 AM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601. Interment will follow at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request Donation’s to the Hospice Program at Hackensack Hospital, 25 East Salem Street (3rd Floor), Hackensack, NJ 07601.(Because Connie was allergic to flowers).
