I have so many wonderful memories of Irma. She was my mother’s best friend, she cared for me briefly when I was an infant and sometimes picked me up after school. She taught me to play castanets (she was the best). She loved music, laughing, jokes, dancing and the parties at her home were always so much fun. I remember our trips to Orchard Beach, the baby oil/mercurochrome tanning oil (the sunburn didn’t hurt as much) and Ricky getting lost on the beach. I remember how she stood up to the nun who smacked me when I was in the 1st grade. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. We love you and thank you for all the wonderful memories. You will always be in our hearts.
