Obituary of Patsy L. Paolella

Patsy L. Paolella, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at the age of 91 years. Patsy retired as a Lieutenant on the Hackensack Police Department, where he worked for 28 years. He proudly served his country during World War II, and was honorably discharged from the United States Navy. He was a parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Hackensack and was a member of PBA Local # 9 of Hackensack. Beloved husband for 58 years of the late Violet J. (nee Uzzalino) who died in 2007. Devoted father of Patricia Paolella of Hackensack, the late Maryann Lamber who died in 2012 and her husband Lewis of Hackensack, and Rosemary Frontera of Montvale who was loved like a daughter. Cherished grandfather of Keith, Stacey and Gabino, and Justin and Anna. Adored great grandfather of Savannah and Graysen Patsy. Dearest brother of Mary Dapice of Little Ferry, Benidetto Paolella and his wife Philomena of Delaware, and Angelo Paolella and his wife Marie of Fair Lawn. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. The funeral on Monday, June 8th, at 9:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack with entombment following at Hackensack Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 – 8 PM.
