Obituary of Melani C. Punla

Melanie C. Punla, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at Englewood Hospital, at the age of 56 years. Born in Pampanga, Philippines, she came to this country in 1990 and has lived in Bergenfield for 25 years. She was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist R, C. Church of Bergenfield. She had worked in the billing department for American Compress Gases of Old Tappan. Beloved wife of Salvador P. Punla for 33 years. Devoted mother of Gyselle Punla, Zandrix Punla, and Carissa Punla all of Bergenfield. Cherished grandmother of Cedrick Tejada. Loving sister of Reomar Cabuso and his wife Corazon of the Philippines, Nelson Cabuso and his wife Fe of the Philippines, and the late Noel Cabuso and the late Ronald Cabuso. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 26th, at 10:00 AM, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack with cremation at Cedar Lawn Crematory in Paterson. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 – 9 PM.
