Obituary of Wenceslao Contreras

WENCESLAO CONTRERAS, passed away on December 29, 2015 in Hackensack, New Jersey. He was the husband of Carolina Contreras. They shared 56 years of marriage together. Born in the Dominican Republic, he was the son of José Dolores Contreras and Maria Nuñez. He was a passionate tailor for most of his adult life and worked at Saragraphic Enterprises and Bergen Regional Medical Center. He will be remembered for being a great husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is preceded in death by his son, Lorenzo, and survived by his wife, Carolina Contreras, his other 4 children, Ramon, Joselyn Contreras-Brisita, Rafael, and Evelyn, his grandchildren, Victoria, Kristina, Addam, Olivia, Ali, Angelica, Nicolas, Evan, and Leonardo, and his great-grandchildren, Nikolas and Gabriella. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 4, at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Ave. Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Ave, Clifton, NJ. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 – 7:00 PM for visitation.
