Obituary of Ethel C. Stewart

Ethel C. Newell Stewart, of Maywood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 31, 2016, at the age of 90 years. Born in Ridgefield Park, she lived in Maywood for more than 65 years. Prior to retiring she was Secretary for the Girl Scouts of Bergen County of Paramus. She was a member of the V. F. W. Auxiliary of Maywood, the Maywood P. T. A. and parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church of Maywood. She enjoyed and was an avid bowler. Beloved wife of the late Harry Stewart who died in 1994. Devoted mother of Nancy Stewart Lo Presti and her husband Michael of Wyckoff, Elaine Stewart of Mahwah, and Harry Stewart of Chicago. Cherished grandmother of Jason Nunnermacker, James Nunnermacker and his wife Jill, Anthony Lo Presti, and Alyssa Cartmill. Adored great grandmother of Layla and Charlotte. Dearest sister of the late Dorothy Zack. Prayer service on Wednesday, January 3rd, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5 – 8 PM.
