Obituary of Hector C. Murillo

Hector C. Murillo, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 13, 2017, at his home, at the age of 79 years. Born in Ancon, Ecuador, he came to this country in 1970 settling in Hackensack. Prior to retiring, he was a welder for Arrow Steel Company of Paterson. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. Beloved husband of Maria M. (nee Lazo). Devoted father of Amelia Rangel and her husband Jorge of Garfield, Boris Campodonico and his wife Myriam of Hackensack, Cecilia Pagan and her husband Hector of Manville and the late Gaston Fernando Murillo who died in 1996. Cherished grandfather of Marissa, Melanie, Jorge, Stephanie, Nicole, Lucas and Alexa. Dearest brother of Bolivar Miranda of Garfield, Solbrisa Miranda of Florida , Elena Miranda of Hackensack, Matilde Murillo of Ancon, Ecuador, and the late Luis Miranda and Amelia Murillo. The funeral on Monday, January 16th, at 9:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi, Street, Hackensack at 11:00 AM with cremation following at Cedar Lawn Crematory in Paterson. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 – 9 PM.
