Obituary of Salvatore P. Presti

SALVATORE P. PRESTI of Hackensack, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Sal was a lifelong resident of Hackensack and a veteran of the Korean War. Sal was predeceased by his loving wife Maria (nee Mata). He is survived by his sister Carmela, his children Anna Murray, Michele Bozek and Nick Presti as well as their spouses, six grandchildren, one great granddaughter and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of the New Jersey Veterans Home in Paramus for their attentive care during Sal's residence there. Services are private at the request of the family. The family is grateful for condolences and in lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated in Sal's memory to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Greater NJ, or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
