Obituary of Robert E. Schatz

ROBERT E. SCHATZ SR. of Paramus formerly of South Hackensack, died on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the age of 89. Prior to his retiring he was a Chemical Compounder working for Bertrand DuPont in Wayne for many years. He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII and he was a parishioner of Our Lady the Visitation R.C. Church, Paramus. Beloved husband of the late Millie (nee Giglio) 2000. Loving father of Robert E. Schatz Jr. and Richard J. Schatz and his wife Susan. Cherished grandfather of Ricky Jr., Danielle, Michael and Christopher. Great grand father of Mateus and Marcello. Cherished brother of the late John Schatz. He also leaves behind his loving companion Connie Wiedemann. The Funeral on Friday May 5, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady the Visitation R.C. Church, 234 N. Fairview Avenue, Paramus at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 – 4 & 7 - 9PM for visitation.
