Obituary of Jasper J. Noto
Jasper J. "Gabby" Noto, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at his home, at the age of 90 years. Prior to retiring he was the warehouse foreman at Goldberg Slipper Factory of Hackensack. He served his country during World War II and was honorably discharged from the United States Navy. He was a member of the V. F. W. Post # 8005 of South Hackensack, the Hackensack Troast Club and was a parishioner at Holy Trinity R. C. Church. Beloved husband of the late Katherine (nee Noble). Devoted father of Edie Curley and her husband Brian of New Milford and the late Thomas Noto and his wife Maria of South River. Loving grandfather of Jeffrey, Christopher, Jonathan, Thomas, Erin and her husband Joseph, Megan and Patrick. Cherished great grandfather of Callaway. Predeceased by twelve brothers and sisters. He is the adored uncle of many nieces and nephews. The funeral will begin on Monday, June 5th, at 8:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack with entombment following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 – 8 PM.
