Obituary of Mary Theresa Mellone

Mary Theresa Mellone, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, June 5, 2017, at the age of 85 years. Prior to retiring, she worked as a bookkeeper for Hekemian and Company of Hackensack. She was a parishioner at St. Francis R. C. Church where she was a member of the Socialites, Children of Mary, and the Choir. Beloved wife of Al Mellone for 61 years. Devoted mother of Rosemarie Patterson and her husband Robert of Hackensack and Al "Bert" Mellone and his wife Lisa of Park Ridge. Cherished grandmother of Sean, Ryan, Carly, Ava, and Hope. Dearest sister of John Pisano and his wife Paula of Lodi and the late Joseph Pisano. The funeral will begin on Friday, June 9th, at 8:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack with entombment following at Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. The family prefers that in lieu of flowers you honor her memory with either a mass card or a memorial donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis TN 38148-0142.
