Obituary of Salvatore R. Mirabella

SALVATORE R. MIRABELLA, of Hillsdale, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Salvatore was born in Hackensack and lived in Hillsdale since 1959. He served in the US Navy during World War II and was a member of the American Legion of Hillsdale Post # 162. Prior to retiring, Salvatore was a machinist for Applied Bio Systems in Mahwah. Beloved husband of Catherine S. (nee Adelgais) for 60 years. Loving father of John Mirabella and his wife Terri of Bogota, Michael Mirabella of Tinton Falls, Thomas Mirabella and his wife Karen of Waldwick and the late Catherine Anne Mirabella and Debbie Mirabella. Loving grandfather of Michelle Ann, John Michael and Thomas. Dearest brother of Theresa Gill and her husband Charles of Mahwah and the late George Mirabella. The prayer service will be held on Tuesday, June 20th at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with entombment following at St. Joseph Cemetery, 179 Hackensack Avenue, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 19th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM for visitation.
