Obituary of Herbert R. Walsh

HERBERT R. "BUTCH" WALSH, Jr., of South Hackensack, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the age of 57 years. He was born in the Bronx, New York. After moving to South Hackensack, Butch served as a dedicated Volunteer Fireman for many years. He was the proud owner of his business, Advantec Concrete and Paving Inc., South Hackensack. Parishioner of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Hackensack. Butch was dedicated and generous to all his family and always offered support to all who knew him. The family and friends are so devastated to have lost such a wonderful man. Beloved husband of 32 years to Lorraine M. (nee Tevere). Loving father of Daniel and Deanna Walsh. Devoted son of Awilda Walsh and the late Herbert R. Walsh, Sr. Dearest brother of Linda Eldert and her husband Michael and Lorraine Walsh. Loving son-in-law of Anna Tevere and the late Michael, brother-in-law to Theresa Moon and her husband Brian. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends. The funeral on Saturday, July 29th, at 8:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Washington Twp. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM for visitation.
