Obituary of Justin M. McCarthy

JUSTIN M. MCCARTHY, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at the age of 79 years. Prior to retiring in 2000, he was a police officer for Con Rail Railroad of North Bergen. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church, a Veteran of the United States Army, and a member of NJ F.O.P. # 46. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Fitzharris). Devoted father of Michael Butler and his wife Lucia of Colonnia. Dearest brother of Joanne Kepple of Teaneck, Dennis McCarthy of Fair Lawn, Michael McCarthy and his wife Ronnie of Wall and the late Agnes "Bubbie" McCarthy. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Cherished friend of Carol Madigan of Long Island. Justin was the life of the party and will be sadly missed by all. The funeral on Wednesday, November 29th, at 8:45 AM, from the ferunal home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
