Obituary of Elvia Santamaria

ELVIA OCAMPO SANTAMARIA, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 1, 2017, at Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of 92 years. Born in Aguadas, Colombia, she came to this country in 1971. She lived in New York and had lived in Hackensack for 17 years. She was a parishioner at St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Luis Eduardo Santamaria who died in 1971. Devoted mother of Marlene Flores and her husband Miguel of Altamonte Springs, FL, Luis Miguel Santamaria of Hackensack, Jorge Santamaaria and his wife Yamileth of Hackensack, Janett Santamaria of Colombia, Clara Ines Santamaria of Colombia, Amparo Londono and her husband Henri of Colombia, and the late Hernan Santamaria and Myriam Garcia. Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Dearest sister of the late Octavio Ocampo. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 7th, at 9:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack with cremation following at Cedar Lawn Crematory in Paterson. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 – 9 PM.
