Obituary of Patsy W. DeGeorgia

PATSY W. DeGEORGIA, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 19, 2018 at the age of 96 years. Patsy proudly served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Prior to retiring he worked as a Foreman for Newark Boxboard Company in Newark for many years. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved husband of 62 years to the late Florence M. (nee Krause) who passed away in 2011. Loving father of Patricia Forte and her husband Mario of Allentown, PA, Florence McGovern and her husband Michael of Dumont and Susan Mason and her fiancé David Kerchner of Wrightsville, PA. Loving grandfather of eight grandchildren Stacey Tronolone Nolan, James Mason, Christina Tronolone Waehner, Lori Mason Werner, Marianne Mason, Michael McGovern, Charles Tronolone, Steven McGovern and and great grandfather to thirteen. Dearest brother of the late Tony DeGeorgia, Louis DeGeorgia, Mildred Cazan, and Ann Sedlack. The funeral on Monday, February 26th, at 8:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM for visitation.
