Obituary of Benjamin A. Vaccarella

BENJAMIN A. VACCARELLA Sr., 87 of Wanaque, formerly of Waretown and Ridgefield, NJ passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018. He proudly served in the United States Army Reserves during the Korean War. Prior to retiring he worked as a general contractor for Cherry Hill Associates in New Jersey for many years. Beloved husband of 64 years to Marion D. (nee Pickel). Devoted father to Benjamin A. Vaccarella Jr. and his wife Cindy of Verona, NJ, and Lynn Jekogian and her husband Steve of Morristown, NJ. Cherished grandfather of Nick, Allison, Alex and Christina. Great grand father of Dylan and Brent. Dearest brother of Fran Minella, Carl Vaccarella and his wife Heidi, John Paolella and the late Romeo Vaccarella, Sonny Vaccarella, Lucille Zabriskie and Joyce Vaccarella. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A prayer service will be held on Saturday February 24, 2018, at 3:15 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 – 4:00 PM for visitation.
