Obituary of Vincent R. Maura

VINCENT R. MAURA, of Paramus, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at the age of 88 years. Born in Hackensack, he lived in Paramus for 54 years. He was the owner of Flip Focal of Paramus and previously owned Metro Mold of Hackensack. An Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Vincent would volunteer at the NJ Veteran's Home of Paramus. An avid hunter and fisherman he was a member of Trout Unlimited. Beloved husband of Betty C. (nee Marchese) for 65 years. Devoted father of Lynn Preslopsky and her husband Leonard of Hawthorne, Kathy Hart and her husband Jack of Howell and Bart C. Maura and his wife Karen of Medford. Dearest brother of Marie Romano of Hackensack, and the late Rose Genella and Silvia Stagnitta. The memorial Mass of Requiem will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 72 Lodi Street, Hackensack.
