Obituary of Marguerite T. Cox

Marguerite T. DeLorenzo Cox, of Ridgefield Park, passed away peacefully at her home, on Friday, May 11, 2018, at the age of 90 years. Prior to retiring, she was a Registered Nurse at Hackensack University Medical Center. She was a parishioner at St. Francis R C. Church of Hackensack and a member of the Order of the Secular Franciscans, served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the choir. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Cox. Devoted mother of Cathy Champon of Elizabethton, TN, Henry Cox of Lincoln Park, Louise Nash of Ridgefield Park, Rosemarie McManus of Rochelle Park, Alfred Cox of Rockaway, Elizabeth Cox of Ridgefield Park, Judy Nichols of Long Beach Island, Diane Binn of Hackensack, Mary Marinelli of Maywood, Marilyn Wagner of Ridgefield Park and the late Theresa Gavin, Marguerite Phillips and Joanne Cox. Cherished grandmother of 28 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Dearest sister of Frank DeLorenzo of Wayne, Louis DeLorenzo of Toms River and the late Marie Rose DeLorenzo. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 16th at 11:00 AM at St. Francis R. C. Church, 114 Mt. Vernon Street, Ridgefield Park with burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday and Tuesday from 4 – 8 PM.
