Obituary of Sandy Williams

SANDY WILLIAMS JR. Sunrise April 11th, 1933 – Sunset July 29th, 2018. Son of the late Rebecca Sommerville and Sandy Williams Sr., Sandy Williams Jr. entered into eternal life at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Sandy was a retired Battalion Chief with the City of Hackensack Fire Department where he served for 33 years. He leaves to cherish his memory is his wife of 40 years Thomasine Williams, his six children daughters Toni Haverty of Hackensack, NJ, Gail Nelson George of Blackjack, MO and Monique Druitt, Smyrna, DE and sons Sandy Williams III of Virginia Beach, VA, Randolph Williams of Hackensack, NJ and David Williams of Kissimmee FL. Also, his sister Martha Bell and brother Howard William both of Hackensack, NJ, also, three nieces and one nephew and a host of cousins, relatives and friends. The Funeral will be held on Saturday August 4th at 11:30 AM, with visitation from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 260 Central Ave Hackensack, NJ 07601. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ. The Repast will be at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Hackensack, NJ following interment.
