Obituary of Irene Reilly

IRENE "LIZ" DEMPSTER REILLY, of Great Meadows,died on Sunday, May 18, 2008, at Kindred Hospital in Dover, at the age of 81 years. Born in Ridgefield Park, she lived in Bergenfield and Hackensack prior to moving to Great Meadows 20 years ago. Prior to retiring in 1988, Liz was a bartender at the Charlmaree Tavern in Hackensack and previously the Old Dominion in River Edge. In 2003, she was elected to the Warren County Senior Hall of Fame, She was a volunteer for the Warren County Nutrition Program, Meals at Home Program and the Special Olympics. Beloved wife of Joseph P. Reilly, Devoted mother of Karen Statton and the late Eric Grassman. Loving grandmother of Jennifer Moore, Lauren Statton, and Peter J. Kuchar. Cherished great grandmother of Allison Charlotte. Dearest sister of the late William Dempster. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 23, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack at 11:00 AM. Visiting will be on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
