Obituary of Lucy Gervasi

Lucy Gervasi (nee Santoro), of Hackensack, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 11, 2019, at the age of 95 years. Prior to retiring, she worked as a seamstress for Superior Tailors of Hackensack. She was a member of the Rosary Society at Holy Trinity Church where she was a former parishioner, the Trinity Leisure Club, and the Knit Wits of Ridgefield Park. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Gervasi who died in 1983. Devoted mother of Nancy Linder and her husband Jerry of Saddle Brook, Maria Grieco and her husband Peter of Hackensack, Frank Gervasi and his wife Kemberly of Conover, Ohio, and Salvatore Gervasi and his wife Sara of Freehold. Cherished grandmother of Anthony, Michelle, Amanda, Laura, Jennifer, Angela, Gina, and Joseph. Adored great grandmother of Giavanna, Sal, John, Mia, Noah, Vincent, Lucy and Roman. Dearest sister of the late Frances Lomino, Vincenzo Santoro, and Santo Santoro. The funeral on Monday, January 14th, at 9:15 AM, from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Visitation R. C. Church, 234 N. Farview Avenue, Paramus, with burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 - 8 PM.
