Obituary of Walter A. Duschka

Walter A. Duschka, of El Paso, Texas, formerly of Westwood and Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at the age of 90 years. Prior to retiring, he was an Electrical Engineer for I.T.T. of Chicago. He was a 1954 graduate from Notre Dame University and was President of the class for 66 years. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. Dearest brother of the late Joseph Duschka who died in 1991. Loving uncle of Joseph Duschka Jr. of Meredith, New Hampshire, Julie A. Duschka of Boston, Massachusetts, Jennie M. DeArellano and her husband Jason of Tequesta, Florida, and Janine A. Vernon and her husband William of El Paso, Texas .The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 25th at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack with burial following at St. Andrew's Cemetery in River Vale. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 – 6 PM.
