Obituary of Isabella E. Matina

Isabella E. Matina (nee Costa), of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the age of 96. Prior to retiring she had worked for Randa Neckwear in Hackensack for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Episcopal Church, Hackensack and a former parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Antonio Matina (2009). Loving mother of Frank Matina and his wife Vincenzina of Paramus and Carmela Matina of Moonachie. Cherished grandmother of Antonio Matina and his wife Maryann and Maria Fiataruolo and her husband Rocco, Francesco Grano and his wife Nicole, Anthony Grano and his wife Amy, Dominic Grano and his wife Luisa. Great grandmother of Nicholas, Francesca, Maddalena and Graziella Grano, Juliana and Frankie Matina, Vito and Rocco Fiataruolo, Jordyn and Dylan Grano and Marianna, Fiorella and Domenico Grano. Dearest sister of the late Jimmy Costa, Carmelo Costa and Bridget Bagnato. The Funeral from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, on Tuesday, August 24, at 9:30 AM. The Mass of Requiem at St. Anthony of Padua Episcopal Church, 72 Lodi Street, Hackensack at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 – 9:00 PM for visitation.
