Obituary of Rhoda P Pidone

Rhoda P. Pidone (nee Honig) of Troy, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the age of 92 years. She was a past member of the River Edge Golf Club. Rhoda loved to paint, sew, knit and golf. Beloved wife of the late Joseph E. Pidone (2014). Devoted mother of Thomas Hook and his wife Elizabeth of Hampton Bays, NY and Donna Fitzgerald and her husband Jay of Troy, NY. Loving grandmother of Thomas Hook Jr. and his wife Leah, Megan Payne and her husband Matthew and Elizabeth Fitzgerald and her fiancée Marcel Nadeau. Cherished great grandmother of Matilda Bryce Hook, Phoebe Annabel Hook, Nathaniel Thomas Hook and Lucas Connor Payne. She is pre - deceased by her three brothers Murray Honig, Marvin Honig and Paul Honig. We would like to send a special thank you to the staff at the Van Rensselaer Manor, Troy, NY. The care and compassion was heartfelt. Rhoda truly enjoyed time spent with her family, her grandchildren and great grand children. Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 25th, at 11:00 AM at the George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus.
