Obituary of Marie Anania

Marie Anania (nee Faranda), 92 of South Hackensack, passed away peacefully on January 18th 2022. Prior to retiring she owned and operated Marie Anania Insurance Agency in South Hackensack for many years. Devoted mother of Roy Anania. Loving grandmother of Michelle Kirkpatrick and Amy Bierly, great grandmother of Ava, Thomas, Brandon, Bradley and Benjamin. Marie also leaves behind her loving companion of 52 years Richard A. Yannelli. The funeral will begin on Tuesday, January 25, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack with entombment following at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation.
