My condolences to Johns family. I enjoyed talking with John and Joycee every Friday lunch at the Maywood Inn. He loved visiting the Oktoberfest in Munich and reminiscing about life as an air traffic controller. He also loved his summer trips to the Jersey shore with his family. Stephen Hicks

I had the Greatest time as the Air Traffic Manager at Newark Tower knowing I had large shoes to fill and hope I could do a job that would make my mentor proud. Rest In Peace My Friend. GO NAVY! I am so saddened, heartbroken to learn of Johns passing. He and Joyce were people that made things all the better for having them, although briefly in my life. I will cherish my friendship with John forever. I will look to the heavens and toast a great guy with a wee dram-Slàinte Mhath to you John. May your memory be a blessing. My condolences to Greg and Leslie and family.
