Obituary of Castel A. Richards

Castel Alexander Richards (also known as Gary, Cass, or Castelo) was born to Eric Sydney Richards and Ruby Elaine Richards on June 18, 1960. Gary is survived by his mother Ruby Richards, sons: Stephen Richards and Kevin Richards, partner Dr. Arleen Sharpe, daughter-in-law Naomie Richards, granddaughter Reina Richards, brother Paul Richards, sisters: Carron Richards (also known as Fauzia), Gay-Marcine Richards, Nicole Brown, and a plethora of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and godchildren. Gary passed away at 11:12 AM on Sunday, February 27th, at Memorial Sloan Kettering, with his two sons, Stephen and Kevin, and his partner, Arleen, by his side, after a brave battle with his illness. A prayer service will be held 12:00 Noon, Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, New Jersey 07601. The family will receive friends Friday morning for visitation from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus. The family request that all guests wear masks while attending the Funeral Service.
