Obituary of Maria L. Diaz

Maria Luisa Diaz (Vallejo) passed away peacefully on Friday March 25, 2022 surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. Maria was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico and lived in Hackensack with her family for 42 years. Maria also known to many as Carmin was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was very proud of her family. Maria is survived by her beloved husband Domingo Diaz, son and daughter-in-law Edwin and Karen Diaz daughter and son-in-law Judy and John Clancy, 5 grandchildren, Dominic, Richie, Jacqueline, Steven and Kevin, and her sister Teofila Diaz. Friends are invited to say a final goodbye to Maria at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ on Wednesday March 30, 2022 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. The funeral will begin on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 8:45 a.m. at the Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Washington Twp, NJ.
