Our family was lucky and very blessed to have "Dear" Mary in our lives for almost 30 yrs. And, It wasn't long before we considered her a part of our family.
We shared so much and she enriched our lives in countless ways. Lots of conversation, smiles, laughs and happy times were always present when Mary was near. And anyone who was close to her, also knew the "best" brownies and thin, crispy chocolate chip cookies were part of that relationship! It wouldn't be Christmas without Mary warming your heart with a tin of her homemade chocolate chips!
While each of us has years of happy memories with Mary, I will always be especially grateful for countless tea times in her apartment during the latter years. When I arrived, the table was set with china (Mary would only drink tea from a china cup) and a pretty lace tablecloth--providing a cozy setting for a few hours of conversation about life. I will always cherish (and miss) that special tea time with Mary.
Mary will always be thought of by each of us with great admiration and love! We are grateful for the wonderful blessing she was in our lives! While she will be missed, we are comforted knowing that Mary is at peace in heaven.
Mary, we LOVE you and you will never be forgotten!!!
