Obituary of Madonna A. Melanson

Madonna A. Melanson, (nee Galvan) 48 of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Prior to her courageous battle with cancer, Madonna worked as Department Manager at various Wal-Mart stores for over 21 years. Devoted daughter of Josefa Galvan and the late Rogelio Galvan. Madonna is survived by her beloved husband Brian J. Melanson, her cherished daughters Abigail and Vanessa Melanson. Devoted sister of Josie Halady and her husband John, John Galvan, Joeffrey Galvan, Jerry Galvan, Jorolyn Galvan, Roneja Fell and her husband Dave, Jefferson Galvan and his wife Carly, Joevert Galvan and his wife Sachi, Cherished aunt to many loving nieces and nephews. A prayer service will be held 10:30 AM, Friday, April 29, 2022, at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, New Jersey 07601. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 – 9:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home.
