I'm so heartbroken to be hearing about this just now. I met Bob when I was on the River Edge Police Reserves. We maintained a friendship through all these years. I last spoke to him in the spring. Such a good guy and friend. My last photo of him was of him feeding my young son a hamburger in our van. That son is also in heaven. I hope they have met up again. (From Relle)

My condolences to Maria and Bob's children. It was a Honor and Privilege to be his friend. We taught many years at the Police Academy, worked at Headquarters on Zabriskie St. he was a man of his word. I'll always remember our talks, his guidance, and support no matter what.
