Obituary of Frederick A. Cerbo

Frederick "Fred" A. Cerbo, of Hackensack, died on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the age of 74 years. Prior to retiring Fred taught U.S. History, Spanish, Contemporary Studies, Coached Baseball and Basketball, and assisted many with language skills for 50 years... working for the Hackensack Board of Education, he was a cultural hero to many... He also had a keen interest and knowledge of antiquity.... Dearest brother of Richard L. Cerbo of Hackensack and grandfather to Sara and Aidan. Fred is pre-deceased by his parents Fred and Alice Cerbo and his daughter Melissa Cerbo Carlson. A prayer service will be held on Monday July 18, 2022, at 1:00: PM, at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, 535 Hudson Street, Hackensack, NJ. Arrangements conducted by G.
