Obituary of Carol F. DeMala

On the afternoon of August 4, 2022, Carol DeMala died at the age of 78. Carol was born to Angelo and Frances DeMala in Hackensack on September 19, 1943. She grew up in Saddle River and resided in Hackensack in her final years. She enjoyed teaching and received her bachelor degree in education and went on and pursued her masters in public health. Her love of family, the beach and reading consumed her life. Carol is preceded by her parents Angelo and Frances DeMala and her sister Ann Carroll. Surviving relatives: Brother in law Robert Carroll, nieces and nephews; John Carroll, Lee Ann Rooney, Mary McIntyre, Barbara Carroll and Susan Barrett. Great nieces and nephews; Melissa Barzola, Michael Rooney, Amy Williams, Samantha Manning, Alex Carroll, Kelly McIntyre, Kevin McIntyre, Shaun Carroll, Coral Barrett and Kyle Barrett. Great Great nieces and nephews: Daniel Barzola, James Barzola, Ophelia Rooney, Emma Williams, Samson Rooney and Ellie Williams. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 9, at Queen of Peace R.C. Church, 400 Maywood Avenue, Maywood, burial will be private. Arrangements conducted by G.
