Obituary of Margaret Brown

Margaret Brown, age 84 passed away on February 16, 2023, after a brief illness. Margaret was born June 14, 1938, in Jamaica, W.l., to Uriah Miles and Rose Brown, both of whom preceded her in death along with her son Leroy Bernard and husband, Isaac Forrester. She is survived by one sister Louise Brown, four children Faye Bernard, Desmond Bernard, Michael Bernard, and Brian Bernard, ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Margaret lived a full life as a wonderful, loving mother, and grandmother. She was a devoted Christian with her Bible always open to a scripture on her bed. She worked as professional chef in Jamaica and as a caregiver for the elderly in the USA. She loved people and people loved and adored her. She was funny and knows how to make people laugh. Margaret loved to cook and clean. She was a friendly person who made friends everywhere she went. Visitation for Margaret Brown will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with service immediately following at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack NJ. Burial will take place at 2:00 pm. at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus, N.J.
