Obituary of Kathleen L. Petry

Kathleen Lorraine Petry (nee Gingras), of Hackensack, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the age of 75 surrounded by her family. Loving mother to Gidget A. Petry, Robert C. Petry III and Kevin John Petry. Beloved wife of the late Robert C. Petry Jr. (1987), beloved fiancé of the late James Hall Peed (2008), beloved sister to the late Patricia Redner (Gingras) and beloved daughter to the late Alma L. Gingras (Gallagher) and late Lawrence E. Gingras. Kathleen Petry was born on May 1, 1947 in Manhattan, New York. She attended Holy Trinity School before attending Hackensack High School. She was a professional Roller Skater and loved to perform in front of an audience. Prior to retiring, Kathleen worked in the Fashion Industry for many years as a Production and Allocations Manager in New York City. Kathleen deeply loved her family with fierce dedication and was involved in all her children's interests, activities, and milestones. Her favorite time of year was Christmas when family would gather to celebrate each other. Kathleen was an amazing woman who loved life and lived it to its fullest. She was a kind and patient woman giving herself willingly to those who needed her. Her pets were just as important as her children were to her and she always appreciated a glass of great wine. Kathleen will be sorely missed and remembered by the many lives she touched. A prayer service will be held 12:00 Noon, on Monday, March 27, 2023, at St. Joseph Cemetery, 179 Hackensack Avenue, Hackensack.
