Obituary of Patricia Ann Wissell

Patricia Ann Wissell (nee Kuhn), 85, of Pompton Plains, formerly of Maywood, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2023. Prior to Pat and Bob retiring to Florida, she worked as a School Secretary for Fanny M. Hillers Elementary School in Hackensack for many years, she was a member of the Country Supper Show, the Niner's Golf Club, the Red Hat Society, Irish Club, a member of the Knights of Columbus Maywood Council Ladies Auxiliary Columbiettes, and a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, Maywood. Beloved wife of the late Robert A. Wissell (2011). Loving mother of Tracy Wissell and her late husband Jeff Cloidt, Kevin Wissell and his wife June, Amy Finley and her husband Patrick, Tricia Pricken and her husband Dave and Julie Hartley and her husband Ryan. Cherished grandmother to Ryan, Andrew, Matthew, Chelsea, Sean, Sara, Jillian, Liam, Molly, Danny, Sam, Cameron, Paige, Jack, Katie and Catherine. Dearest sister of Barbara Peel and her late husband Jimmy, John Kuhn and his wife Elaine, Gerry Kuhn and his wife Aihan and the late Dorothea Culhane and Michael Kuhn. Patricia is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The Funeral will begin from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, on Tuesday, April 25, at 9:45 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, 400 Maywood Ave, Maywood. Cremation will be Private. The family will receive friends on Monday April 24th, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home.
