Obituary of Yvonne E. Lindsay

Yvonne Lindsay passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, after a lengthy battle with Kidney disease. She was 79 years old. A native of Jamaica, West Indies, Yvonne was also a life-long resident of Hackensack, NJ. She was an employee of Bergen Pines County Hospital and DellRidge Rehabilitation Center until her retirement in 2005. Beloved wife of Alvin Lindsay, she is survived by her 5 sisters, 5 children, 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, on Friday, May 5th, from 5:00pm - 9:00pm. Funeral Services and Entombment will be at the Garden of Memories Mausoleum & Cemetery, 300 Soldier Hill Road, Township of Washington, NJ 07676 on Saturday, May 6th at 11:30am, followed by a Repast at the Maywood Senior Recreation Center, 350 Duvier Place, Maywood, NJ, 07607 . In lieu of flowers, a donation in Yvonne's memory can be made to the American Kidney Fund and the American Cancer Society.
