Obituary of Margaret Ormiston

Margaret Smith Ormiston, 85, of Vero Beach, Florida and Maywood, New Jersey, died peacefully on June 14, 2023. Margaret was born on January 28,1938 in Glasgow, Scotland to the late William & Sarah Woods Smith. Prior to coming to the United States in 1964 on the Queen Elizabeth she was employed at MacFarlane & Company. Before retiring to Grove Isle in Vero Beach, Florida she was employed with Glass Gardens and resided in Maywood, NJ for 27 years. Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Cameron Ormiston for over 56 years; loving Mom to Karen Ormiston and Laura Santora and her husband Scott; cherished Grammy of Brooke Kamryn, Morgan and Gabrielle. She leaves behind her sister Wilma Turner of Canada and her sister-in-law Rose Ormiston, as well as three nieces Ann, Sharon and Darci Ormiston all of Scotland and a countless number of cherished friends. Margaret was instantly loved by everybody that met her and she will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Funeral arrangements will be private
